Angel's arrival at Canaan Children's Home attests to the work of a Sovereign God, sets the solitary in families. Psalm 68:6 Angel was born to Faith Kanganda, fathered by a man who fled Uganda and was ultimately imprisoned in Kenya. Her mother is unable to care for her and has sought employment in Kampala. Children like Angel are often rejected should Angel's mother marry. In the summer of 2005, Angel visited Canaan Children's Home with some friends, when the advisory board in Uganda hosted a sports team, the Charlotte Eagles.
